The Wonder Stuff were one of the more familiar bands in the UK throughout the the 80's, 90's and to the present, who delivered a good dose of Celtic-infused rock. They were another of the bands you could rely upon to constantly deliver a good single, or a decent overall album. With that said, I do prefer the first few albums they released as opposed to their latter releases. Eight Legged Groove Machine and Hup! Were exceptional releases, while I found that Construction Of The Modern Idiot lacked any sort of cohesive punch. This is probably noted by the decline in interest in the band through that late 90's, though there was still enough nostalgia to cause them to reform and begin touring again.
