B Movie - Polar Opposites 12" EP

This was a somewhat scarce B Movie 12" I found back in the mid 90's. I got into this band based of the hype from the "Nowhere Girl" track I had heard, and later picked up. I found it to be a decent synth track, but found most of their other singles somewhat plain, and lacking any real edge to them. This 12" however, had an almost gloomy Joy Division feeling to it, as the 3 track are stripped down live performances. This EP is number 6 on my top 10 songs of the eighties list..

These 3 variations I find much more appealing, and this has become one of my favorite additions to my collection.

Track 1, Polar Opposites, was recorded for the John Peel (r.i.p) Show on Radio One, and was first broadcast on the 31st of March 1981.

Track 2, Nowhere Girl, was recorded for the Richard Skinner Show on Radio One, and forst broadcast on the 2nd of April 1981.

Track 3, Remembrance Day, was recorded 'live' for the Rock Show on Radio Trent on the 8th of April 1980.

I'm not certain of the scarcity of this 12", as I have never seen another copy of it during my ventures into shops or shows, perhaps someone in the UK might see it floating about more, and state it's availability on this blog.
