I recently rediscovered The Darkside, as I picked up this 12" at the last record show that came through my area. I had tried several track from this band in the past, but hadn't really found much interest in them. This 12" I grabbed because it was quite cheap, and the artwork was very cool, and figured I'd give them another chance. I must say, I wish I'd have given The Darkside more attention in the past, as this single is brilliant! If you like 60's infused britpop like I do, you should really give the title track 'Waiting For The Angel' a listen. This track stands somewhere between The Charlatans and The New Fast Automatic Daffodils. Give it a listen and let me know what you think :)
