Red Flag - If I Ever 12"

Hidden among the lost gems of the 80's was this 12", and inevitably the band Red Flag. Most have never heard them, but now you're in for a treat! This is a fairly scarce 12" to find, and I've seen only 2 in my time collecting (that means nothing in Europe probably). The band sounds somewhere between Cetu Javu and VNV Nation, and have a lovely dark side to their sound which is especially evident on this 12". I heard this track played ONCE on radio, and immediately took note and endeavoured to track it down. They really should have amounted to more than a passing notation in the eighties, but maybe I can help revive some interest in them here ;) I've seen copies of their CD Naive Art sell for a small fortune on Ebay, so you might be better off finding this 12" for now. They have many releases, but I'm ashamed to say I've only seen or heard this release, and it's full length album release. Before avid fans shout shame to me, it is on my VERY long list of things to do!

Track 1, If I Ever (Dance Mix)

Track 2, If I Ever (LP Version)
